Trimble Access 2017
Trimble Access 2017 uses Trimble AccessSync for file synchronization.
Upgrade earlier versions of Trimble Access to Trimble Access 2017.x to login to Trimble Connect with Trimble AccessSync.
Take advantage of the Trimble Sync Manager system with Trimble Access 2018.
Trimble Connected Community
If you use AccessSync with the Trimble Connected Community as your cloud platform, it's time to change to Trimble Connect. Trimble Connect offers a simpler, more modern way to manage your projects in the office, while maintaining a consistent experience in the field. There are loads of great features in this system:
- The Trimble Connect collaboration platform is easy to use. Projects are simple to setup and organize.
- Job and JXL files can be viewed directly on a map within Trimble Connect allowing collaborators to monitor project progress.
- AccessSync allows data to be synchronized from a controller to and from the office, as well as between multiple field users (via Trimble Connect). Teams can stay up to date with the latest data.
- Job files are automatically converted to the version required by the field controller.
- Field users can define how to manage duplicate files and conflicts.
For many customers the transient nature of data transferred using AccessSync means the transition to Trimble Connect is a way to start with a fresh cloud space. If it is required to archive the Trimble Connected Community data this can be achieved by downloading an entire TCC Organisation or site using TCC explorer or an ftp client.
The Trimble Connected Community service is scheduled to discontinue in Q3.2019. Ensure you have switched to Trimble Connect before then.

To take advantage of the Trimble Connect features, you must sign up for a Trimble Connect account. We can help to move your data and accounts across from the Trimble Connected Community to Trimble Connect.

- AccessSync allows data to be synchronized from a controller to and from the office, as well as between multiple field users (via Trimble Connect). Teams can stay up to date with the latest data.
